WILLIAM B. YEARTS. MANIFIESTO PROTESTA CONTRA LA REALIDAD.

Creo en la práctica y en la filosofía de lo que se ha dado en llamar magia, que yo debo llamar la evocación de los espíritus, aunque no sé lo que son, en el poder de crear ilusiones mágicas, en las visiones de la verdad, en las profundidades de la mente cuando los ojos están cerrados, y creo en tres doctrinas, que nos han sido legadas, desde épocas tempranas y han constituído la base de casi todas las prácticas mágicas.
Estas doctrinas son:
1) Que los límites de nuestra mente siempre están cambiando y que muchas mentes pueden penetrar en otras, y crear o revelar una sola mente, como si se tratara de una sola energía.
2) Que los límites de nuestra memoria son cambiantes y que esos recuerdos forman parte de una gran memoria de la naturaleza misma,
3) Que esa gran mente y esa gran memoria pueden ser evocadas mediante símbolos.

"I create actually and in the philosophy of which one has occurred in calling magic, that I must call evocacion of the spirits, although I do not know what they are, in the power to create magical illusions, in the visions of the truth, the depths of the mind when the eyes are closed; and I believe in three doctrines, that they have been bequeathed us, from early times, and have constituted the base of almost all the magical practices. These doctrines are: 1) Which the limits of our mind always are changing and that many minds can penetrate in others; and to create or to reveal a single mind, as if one was a single energy. 2) Which the limits of our memory are money changers and that those memories comprise of a great memory of the same nature. 3) That that great mind and that great memory can be evoked by means of symbols.
